The One Earth Solutions Finance Tracker is a first-of-its-kind tool that maps how climate funding is flowing to 75 solution pathways across three pillars of action, Energy Transition, Nature Conservation, and Regenerative Agriculture, all essential to limiting global warming and building a just, thriving future.

Developed in collaboration with Vibrant Data Labs (VDL), the Tracker integrates VDL’s open-source system—which follows nearly $400 billion in private investments and philanthropic grants across more than 10,000 U.S.-based companies and nonprofits—with One Earth’s Solutions Framework, a science-based roadmap grounded in peer-reviewed research and linked to a global climate model.

By bringing these two projects together, the Tracker provides an integrated view of how both philanthropic and investment capital are flowing into detailed climate solutions. Presented in a visually searchable, transparent, and updatable format, the tool reveals which solutions are well resourced, which are overlooked, and where the greatest opportunities for impact exist.

Data on companies comes from Crunchbase and Candid provides the data on nonprofits. The data spans 2018 through August of 2025. The nonprofit data will be on a lag due to the flexible tax filing and processing. See our Methodology for more details.
